Sales and Leadership Consultant Role Summary
As a Sales and Leadership Consultant with Southwestern Consulting, you will focus on prospecting and enrolling new clients into our coaching programs and identifying training prospects to pass on at first then eventually sell yourself. You will source leads in a variety of ways such as cold calling, CRM leads, gathering referrals, or networking; to guide prospects through the decision-making process whether face to face, on video calls, via text, or over the phone— helping them see the value of investing in themselves and their business. Your role is to generate revenue through high-quality, high volume, sales activity, leaving the coaching and training delivery to our delivery team.
Responsibilities
- Source leads from AI sites, company purchased lead platforms, sphere of influence, orphaned accounts, national accounts, and past business connections/relationships.
- Manage your sales pipeline in our CRM (Salesforce) to meet/exceed activity and revenue goals.
- Convert sourced leads to Market Records (sales or leadership teams of 3 or more with a leader the team reports to) via internet research or direct outreach to the business.
- Contact all Market Record leaders via any and all means of communication to set up an immediate results workshop for their team either physically (preferred) in their office or virtually on Teams/Zoom.
- Solidify and customize each immediate results workshop meeting via one or more customization calls with the leader and the individual team members’ pre-workshop calls.
- Conduct as many live (physically or virtually) Immediate Results Workshops as possible, weekly.
- Ask for referrals from every leader and immediate results workshop attendee either day of their workshop or as soon as possible after.
- Follow Up with interested prospects from your workshops as long as it takes to get a yes or a no.
- Coordinate introductions of sold coaching clients to the Delivery/Coaching team to ensure smooth onboarding of your new clients.
- Call each sold coaching client after they are assigned to their coach to warmly encourage them at the start of their program and to build up their coach.
- Account Management – conduct monthly or quarterly check in calls with your sold coaching clients and past workshop leaders to stay connected, show results, and ask for referrals.
- Conduct one-on-one Business Action Planning Sessions (BAPS) with individuals who are interested in coaching in hopes of signing them up for coaching outside of an immediate results workshop.
- Present Southwestern Consulting’s coaching programs with confidence, conviction, and professionalism.
Skills & Qualifications
- Belief and conviction in individual coaching and personal development.
- 5+ years of proven top performance in consultative B2B or B2C sales preferred.
- Ability to generate leads and make a high volume of weekly outbound sales calls.
- Strong communication and group presentation skills.
- Ability and desire to better learn how to build rapport quickly and earn trust.
- Skilled in closing high-value deals while maintaining integrity.
- Experience using technology for sales (CRM, Microsoft Office, LinkedIn, virtual meeting platforms).
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work independently.
- Team Oriented with an excitement for collaboration and team success.
